ARC Daily Connect Newsletter—Monday, October 27th, 2025

October 27, 2025

Welcome to the ARC Daily Connect. We're so glad you're here!

Thoughts for the Day—Opening the Door With a Question

This week we begin to explore the first of four simple but powerful questions: Is it true?

Our minds are full of thoughts that sound convincing. “I’ll always fail.” “I can’t change.” “This craving will never end.” When these thoughts are left unexamined, they feel like solid facts. But the truth is, many of them are assumptions, predictions, or old recordings from the past.

Pausing to ask Is it true? doesn’t mean we argue with the thought or try to replace it. It simply slows us down enough to see the thought clearly. Sometimes the answer is yes, sometimes it’s no, and sometimes it’s uncertain. What matters most is that we begin to step out of automatic belief and into awareness.

Neuroscience shows that even a brief pause interrupts the stress cycle. It calms alarm systems in the brain and strengthens networks for perspective and choice. In that space, we discover that not everything the mind says deserves our trust.

This week, we’ll practice listening to our thoughts with curiosity rather than fear. Each story, each reflection, will bring us back to this first question. And together, we’ll learn that gentleness and truth can open doors to freedom.

Have an amazing day! SHG

Gratitude

The benefits of gratitude are nearly endless. People who regularly practice gratitude by noticing and reflecting upon what they're thankful for experience more positive emotions, feel more alive, sleep better, express more compassion and kindness, and even have more robust immune systems. What are you grateful for today?
