Welcome to the ARC Parts Work program

One-on-One Support for Deep,Compassionate Change

A different kind of support—grounded, skillful, human

ARC Parts Work sessions offer a structured, compassionate space to work with the internal patterns that often drive emotional overwhelm, reactivity, and stuck cycles — especially in the context of cravings, stress, and recovery.

Rather than trying to “fix” behaviors or override difficult emotions, Parts Work helps you understand why certain reactions arise, what they’re protecting, and how to respond with clarity and care instead of force.

These sessions are a skill-based, guided process rooted in ARC’s recovery model and informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), adapted specifically for the needs of people navigating cravings, emotional regulation, and recovery.

  • A 60-minute session for deeper, more spacious work

  • A 4-session package for those who want continuity and deeper engagement

Meet Our Parts Work Advocates

ARC Parts Work sessions are offered by specially qualified ARC Advocates who have completed additional training in:

  • ARC’s Parts Work methodology
  • ARC’s recovery framework
  • Emotional self-regulation and craving-related support

Susan

My Parts Work journey has been a game-changer for me! It’s helped me shift my inner voice to a more positive place, boosting my self-confidence. I feel more assured about what I know and can do, and I trust myself more. My relationships with my partner, friends, and family have all gotten better. My relationship with my sister is much more peaceful and positive now. Plus, I’ve improved my relationship with food and money through Parts Work. I’ve learned to manage my rages and overreactions, and I’m calmer and more curious. I now ask myself what I need and look for a part, instead of focusing on “what’s wrong with you?” Susan, sweetheart, what do you need? I’ve found a tool that helps me stay in control, calm, and confident. Let’s me keep being my adult self. My sleep has also gotten better. Would you like to explore your parts with a calm, compassionate, curious, and confident guide?

What Others Say About Parts Work

"I had a wonderful Parts Session with Susan. With her gentle guidance, I was able to go deeper than when I tried to figure things out alone. I have new compassion for my teenage self now. I am grateful for the work Susan has put into becoming a Parts Guide. Without her, I wouldn't have made some important discoveries."
