ARC Daily Connect Newsletter—Saturday, October 4, 2025
Welcome to the ARC Daily Connect. Today, I'm thinking about choosing from what is possible.
I used to act as though my past choices determined my future. If I gave in yesterday, I assumed I’d give in today. But then I realized—every craving is a new chance to choose possibility instead of replaying the past.
Science
The brain predicts the future based on past patterns. But when you make a new choice, you signal to the brain that other outcomes are possible. This rewires circuits for freedom rather than repetition.
ARC Skill
Today, when a craving comes, ask yourself, “What would my future self choose right now?” You don’t have to repeat yesterday’s story. None of us do. Together, we’re learning to choose possibility, one new decision at a time.
Have an amazing day! SHG
Here are the podcast replay links from the last month.
This is a Google Sheet containing all podcast recordings from January 2025 until present. Please check the tabs at the bottom of the sheet for the month you are looking for. Thanks!
Gratitude
The benefits of gratitude are nearly endless. People who regularly practice gratitude by noticing and reflecting upon what they're thankful for experience more positive emotions, feel more alive, sleep better, express more compassion and kindness, and even have more robust immune systems. What are you grateful for today?
