Reset Week and the Addiction Reset Community (ARC)
will give you peace with food forever
The staff of the ARC and RESET WEEK are trained in the science of recovery from addiction to processed foods.
In this respect, they are unique among peer support recovery staff.
They understand the depth of the trauma suffered by people who have been given food addiction by the addiction scientists in the food industry.
They know the long process of retraining the billions of reward, stress, cognitive, and mirror neurons altered by processed foods.
They know how to explain why overeating is not your fault.
You will be amazed at how much the science sets you free from self-blame and even self-loathing.
ARC Advocates are wonderful people dedicated to the practice of wisdom, patience, and kindness in recovery.
I've been going to recovery programs for over 35 years. I get peace and joy from Reset Week that I don't get anywhere else. I'm happier and stronger each time I attend. It's the only place I get nonstop fun in a science-based, growth-minded environment. From Seattle, Washington, USA Joan is hosting the Mindset Chat, the Conference Call, and the Video Education Discussion Hour
I look at RESET WEEK as a week-long summer camp focused on recovery from food addiction. Not a chore but a way to connect with fun activities that I can either watch or participate in. As I learned the strategies I needed to recover from food addiction, I got to watch and listen to other recovered food addicts have a great time. This helped me want to do that too. I wanted to have a great time and be in recovery. During reset week I was able to do this. The months that followed helped me keep my recovery strong. Reset week helped me find a way out of the addiction. From Atlanta, Georgia, USA Holly is hosting Intention Hour and Crafts.
Reset Week is a way to prioritize my recovery from processed food addiction in a fun, effective way. My household is looking forward to it! From Alabama, USA Cory is co-hosting Painting with Heather Hewett.
Come and get to know your tribe better. The people are wonderful! End loneliness and be with people who accept you as you are. Reset Week, January 2018 was the first time in my life I reached out for help. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made. From Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Cindy is co-hosting the Nature Walk with Pam
We're having a Food Addiction Reset Week! There are going to be lots of fun activities to choose from, and the great thing about it is, your whole family and best friends can attend. It's a great way to learn tips on having abundant health and energy for life. From Missouri, USA Brenda is hosting Video Discussion Hour with Jane. Also, she is running an hour of exercise.
I would like you to join me and experience the ‘magic’ of mirror neuron brain training. I found something special happens when you are surrounded by people who have been there-who have tried every diet, tried strict food plans, felt shame and guilt because they couldn’t control their food. I spent time on the chats and with exercises practiced in the ARC (Addiction Reset Community). Then the magic hits you! You literally don’t want that sweet, you don’t want that snack! Let me tell you I am a skeptic! I love science and evidence! I actually have an engineering degree. I really love the hard sciences! So, I took a chance, signed up for Joan’s program and have seen the ‘magic’ of brain retraining myself- to be in control of my food has been a huge breakthrough! My brain was respectfully retrained to reject the unhealthy food! This was possible thanks to Joan Ifland and her staff and program! From Ohio, USA Jane is hosting the Puzzle Hour.
Reset Week is a wonderful opportunity to focus on taking care of ourselves and prioritizing our own needs, in a safe, caring & fun environment. With daily access to uplifting calls & chats and loads of fun, informative activities all week, it promises to be just the boost we need for the next leg of our recovery journey. From Durbin, South Africa. Lauren is hosting Video Education Discussion
Marian has been hosting for RESET WEEK with yoga and meditation. She makes it all so easy with chair yoga. Yoga is one of the best ways to stop a craving. From Ohio, USA
I look forward to the opportunities in Reset Week -- to immerse myself in brain calming activities, to deepen connections with others and myself, and for the intensive mirror neuron engagement. Whoohoo!! I’m also excited to be on the team facilitating Writing Hour. Whether you’re brand new to writing or have been writing for a lifetime, whether you love writing or despise it, Writing Hour is made for you. I hope you’ll come share in this simple, accessible, judgement-free practice. YOU are a writer! Writing is for everyone!
I joined the ARC shortly before the last Reset Week. It was a wonderful way to learn how the ARC works, meet other members and reinforce my budding program. The ARC rocketed me into a new life of freedom from food addiction - which I was beginning to fear would never happen. I’ve tried just about everything there is to try in my efforts to be free from food obsession/addiction and I finally found my solution in the ARC. I’m so grateful and want to share my gratitude and enthusiasm for the ARC with all who want and need it.
