Manya Ronay, Food Addiction Recovery Advocate (FARA), provides Internal Family Systems (IFS) sessions through the Addiction Reset Community (ARC).
IFS is a powerful modality that helps us get to know our different parts: the parts that want to be healthy, the addictive parts, the inner critics and more. All parts are inherently good, but some are forced into extreme roles to protect us from pain. In IFS, we build a relationship with our parts, appreciate their positive intentions and heal the wounds underneath. When parts relax, we find the Self at the center of everyone. Our true essence, Self is always calm, compassionate and courageous—and knows exactly what we need to heal.
Manya Ronay is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner.
She holds an MS in Health Education and Behavior from University of Florida, her home state.
Manya currently lives in Israel with her husband and works in private practice.

Group Session Testimonial
IFS in a small group setting has been, in a word, liberating for me. First of all, I recognized that various manifestations of what I considered to be my personality - controlling, anxious, judgmental, and directive - were my various parts simply trying to keep me safe and happy in response to experiences Little Kelly went through. Learning how to listen to these parts and reassure them that I am older and better equipped to cope allowed my true Self to emerge. Doing this alone would have been powerful, but doing it in a group allowed me to face past trauma without shame, and I also learned from others in the group about different parts and how they could show up. I am sure that the compassion and respect within the group fostered healing. Manya was a gentle, wise facilitator who created this space for exploration and healing. - Kelly
